Full Membership of the Civil Service Sailing Association is open to anyone eligible for membership of the Civil Service Sports Council – in which members must hold Membership Plus (formerly called two share membership). In addition to employees of the UK Civil Service, this includes the staff of British Telecommunications, the Post Office, and over 100 other former government bodies and agencies. This ‘Membership Plus’ subscription currently costs £78.00 a year (from 1 January 2010), normally regularly deducted directly from salary or pension by your pay office, but payable by cheque annually in advance to CSSC only when that is not possible. Full Membership of the Sailing Association is then available without any further charge using the form below, but additional subscriptions are charged by its clubs – see each club’s information. Both CSSA and CSSC forms can be sent together to the CSSA Membership Secretary, Ken Pavitt, 14 Sussex Court, Vanguard Road, Gosport, Hants PO12 4FF.

If you are ineligible for CSSC membership, you may be able to become an Associate Member of the CSSA if the committee of one of its constituent clubs is willing to sponsor you, for £94.00 in 2010. Please contact the club of your choice for further information.
