CSSA Club Yachts All CSSA club yachts are fully equipped , inspected and certified to either the Royal Yachting Association and Marine Coastguard Agency safety standards for chartering and training or the Royal Ocean Racing Club standards for racing. To sail on these yachts either use the contact telephone numbers and email addresses given or post/email the crew bureau form below. CSSA Approved Skippers may charter the yachts with their own crew. See below for CSSA Approved Skipper Scheme requirements.

Sea Essay

The yacht "Sea Essay" is operated by The Channel Sailing Division (CSD) of the CSSA from Mercury Yacht Harbour on the River Hamble near Southampton. This is a Dufour 405 Grand' Large, fully equipped to the highest standards of safety and navigation, with accommodation for up to eight crew including skipper. It is used for training at all levels, short and long cruises, and self skippered charter by qualified members.

Freyja

The yacht "Freyja of Orwell" sails from Shotley Marina near Harwich on the River Orwell in Essex for training, cruising and charter by the East Coast Yacht Division (ECYD). This is a modern luxury six berth Najad 380 sloop, fully equipped for local and long distance cruising around the British coast and across the North Sea, and includes radar and satellite navigation

Artful dodger

The yacht "Artful Dodger" is a Westerly Storm 33 operated by Five Kingdoms Sailing Club (5KSC) from Liverpool in the waters between Wales, NW England, Ireland and Western Scotland. It is used for cruising, club charters, various training courses and racing throughout the season.
